DPS International School, Sojat City, hosted an exciting inter-house sports competition, featuring a range of sporting events including cricket, kho-kho, the 100-meter race, and the ever-popular spoon race. The competition saw students from Classes 3 to 12 forming teams based on their house uniforms—Shakti House, Kirti House, Jyoti House, and Jagriti House—while the younger participants from Nursery to Class 2 competed in class-specific events.
The action-packed day kicked off with the 100-meter race, where students raced by grade level. Over on Ground No. 1, the cricket competition took center stage, with Shakti House emerging as the winners in the Classes 3 to 5 category, while Kirti House claimed victory in the 6 to 12 category.
At the same time, Ground No. 2 hosted the kho-kho competition. In the boys’ division, Kirti House triumphed, while the girls’ category saw Jagriti House taking the win for Classes 3 to 5. Shakti House dominated the kho-kho competition for Classes 6 to 8, while Jyoti House celebrated victory in the 9 to 12 category.
The day was filled with enthusiasm and sportsmanship, and as the events came to a close, the school’s Managing Director, Mr. Dhanpatraj Tak, and Principal, Mrs. Tamanna, presented trophies and certificates to the winning teams, officially marking the successful conclusion of the competition.
